Publication Ethics

Research Ethics

Research involving human participants must include ethics committee approval and informed consent statements. Studies involving animals must follow approved institutional guidelines and ethical protocols.

Registration of Clinical Trials

Clinical trials must be registered in a public registry prior to participant enrollment, and registration numbers should be provided in the manuscript abstract.

Conflicts of Interest

All authors must disclose financial or non-financial conflicts of interest. Funding sources and sponsor roles must also be declared.

Editorial board member submissions are handled independently to avoid conflicts.

Authorship

Authorship follows international standards requiring substantial intellectual contributions, manuscript preparation, approval of the final version, and accountability for the work.

Author contributions must be described using the CRediT taxonomy.

AI and AI-Assisted Technologies

AI tools cannot be listed as authors. AI may assist language editing, but authors remain fully responsible for accuracy and originality. Use of AI tools must be disclosed where applicable.

Plagiarism

The journal promotes transparency in all stages of research and publication:

  • All manuscripts undergo thorough ethical, editorial, and technical checks.
  • Any required corrections, clarifications, or retractions will be issued promptly in accordance with COPE protocols.
  • Authors are expected to maintain accurate records of clinical data and research methods and provide them upon request.

Duplicate Publication

Manuscripts must be original and not under review elsewhere. Related submissions or prior dissemination must be disclosed.

Misconduct

Research misconduct, including data fabrication, plagiarism, and unethical practices, is handled according to international publication ethics standards.

Citation Policy

Authors must cite relevant and original literature accurately. Citation manipulation practices are prohibited.

Corrections and Retractions

Corrections or retractions may be issued when significant errors or misconduct are identified to maintain literature integrity.

Appeals and Complaints

Authors may appeal editorial decisions or submit complaints related to editorial or ethical issues, which will be evaluated according to established ethical procedures.
