Author Instructions

Scientific Reviews – An International Journal publishes high-quality scholarly articles covering multidisciplinary scientific research and critical reviews across diverse fields of science, technology, engineering, environmental sciences, health sciences, and emerging interdisciplinary domains. Authors are requested to ensure that submitted manuscripts fall within the journal’s scope and contribute meaningful, original, and scientifically rigorous knowledge to the academic community.

The journal operates under a full open-access publishing model. All published articles are freely available online immediately after publication without subscription or access barriers. Readers are permitted to read, download, distribute, copy, and use articles for lawful academic purposes, provided proper citation is given to the original work and authors.

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), allowing authors to retain full copyright of their work while granting the journal rights to publish and distribute the article. Authors must sign a License to Publish agreement prior to publication. If copyrighted materials such as figures or tables from external sources are included, authors must obtain written permission and provide proper attribution.

The journal follows a single-blind peer review process in which reviewer identities remain anonymous to authors, while reviewers are aware of author identities. All manuscripts undergo rigorous evaluation for scientific validity, originality, and academic integrity. Editorial decisions are based on reviewer feedback and editorial assessment.

To encourage academic dissemination, the journal currently waives Article Processing Charges during promotional or institutional support periods. Any future APC policies will be announced clearly on the journal website, along with possible waivers or discounts for authors.

All published content is digitally preserved through trusted archiving platforms to ensure long-term accessibility. Authors are also encouraged to deposit accepted manuscripts in institutional repositories or subject-specific archives to comply with funding or institutional mandates.

The journal allows submission of manuscripts previously shared as preprints, provided authors disclose this information at submission. Posting preprints does not compromise eligibility for peer review or publication.

Authors are encouraged to submit a cover letter along with manuscripts, briefly explaining the significance, novelty, and suitability of the work for publication in the journal. The letter should confirm that the manuscript is original, not under consideration elsewhere, and disclose any related prior publications or conference presentations.

Manuscripts involving human participants must include ethical approval statements and confirmation of informed consent. Research involving animals must comply with recognized ethical standards and include approval from appropriate animal ethics committees. Clinical trials should be registered in publicly accessible registries before participant enrollment, and registration numbers should be provided in the manuscript.

Authors must disclose any financial or personal conflicts of interest that could influence the research. Funding sources must also be declared, including any involvement of sponsors in study design or manuscript preparation.

Authorship should follow internationally recognized standards, and all listed authors must have significantly contributed to the work. Contributions of each author should be clearly described in an Author Contributions statement using standardized contribution roles.

The journal acknowledges the growing use of artificial intelligence tools in writing assistance. AI tools must not be listed as authors, and their use should be limited to language improvement or technical assistance. Authors must disclose any AI-assisted writing and remain fully responsible for manuscript accuracy and originality.

Plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, and improper citation practices are strictly prohibited. Submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software. Proven misconduct may result in rejection or retraction and notification to institutions when necessary.

References should be accurate, properly formatted, and directly relevant to the manuscript content. Citation manipulation intended to artificially increase citations is unacceptable.

Corrections or retractions may be issued when necessary to maintain the scientific record’s accuracy. Authors may appeal editorial decisions or raise complaints regarding editorial processes, which are evaluated according to established ethical guidelines.

The journal accepts multiple manuscript categories, including Original Articles, Reviews, Systematic Reviews, Meta-Analyses, Short Communications, Case Reports, Protocols, Commentaries, Perspectives, Editorials, and Letters to the Editor. Authors should follow article-type requirements regarding structure, word limits, and formatting.

Manuscripts should include a concise title, author details, affiliations, abstract, keywords, and structured main text according to manuscript type. Materials and methods must provide sufficient detail for reproducibility. Results should be clearly presented without duplication, and discussions should interpret findings, address limitations, and outline future directions.

Figures and tables must be clear, editable, and appropriately formatted. High-resolution figures should be submitted separately, and tables must be in editable formats. Supplementary materials, multimedia files, and datasets may be included to support transparency and reproducibility.

Manuscripts should be prepared in editable formats such as DOC or DOCX and written in clear English. Authors are encouraged to seek language editing assistance if needed to ensure readability.

All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. Corresponding authors must ensure that all co-authors approve the submission and that all ethical and authorship requirements are satisfied.
